Landscaping

“I enjoy designing and building landscapes that provide functionality and beauty so that property owners can live surrounded by what nature has to offer, and feel like they are part of it.”

Landscaping demands both craftsmanship and science, and needs good observation, research and design skills.  It also requires distinct elements in different parts of the world and varies according to particular regions. We fully believe in designing stunning, easy-care landscapes, while conserving and protecting natural resources and the environment.

Understanding the site is one of the chief essentials for successful landscaping.  Different natural features like terrain, topography, soil qualities, wind, water sources, etc. must be taken into consideration as well as our customer’s wants and needs.

It’s no secret that plants are essential elements in landscape and that landscaping with native wildflowers and grasses improves the environment while helping to return the area to a healthy ecosystem.  Native plants are beautiful, yet hardy. Once established, they require less maintenance than a conventional lawn.  Native plants are resilient  because they have adapted to the local conditions making them more desirable than non-native species.

Stones are used to enhance landscaping, give accents  to water features, or as focal points in the design. Boulders that are placed in the right spot can hide sprinkler controls, electrical boxes, hot tubs, and many other eye sores that distract from the beauty of a design.
